Obituary
Donna Thompson, 74, of Belmond, passed away on Monday, February 2, 2026, at Ravenwood Specialty Care in Waterloo.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Ewing Funeral Home, 111 Luick's Lane South in Belmond.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services at the funeral home on Saturday.
Donna Marie (Johnson) Thompson was born February 12, 1951, in Paso Robles, California to Harold and Louise (Layne) Johnson.
Donna married Kenneth Thompson in 1973, and they had four children David, William, Samantha and Lori. Donna enjoyed reading, crocheting, counted cross stitch and many other hobbies. Her children looked forward to birthday treat boxes filled with their favorite cookies, muffins and other baked cookies.
Donna is survived by her son William, daughter Samantha Campbell, grandchildren Nick, Haley, Isabel, Jacob, Keith and Emily along with extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, ex-husband Kenneth, son David, daughter Lori, and nephew John Scholl.
