I have fond memories of Uncle Dwayne from my many Iowa visits as a child, seeing his tractors, riding the lawnmower with him (and later without him!), and overall great meals and hospitality with him and Darlene. He was always very warm and welcoming towards me, and in 2022 when I visited Iowa with my kids, that same warmth enabled he and my daughter hit it off immediately, she hopped right up on his lap and they had a lovely visit. We'll miss you Uncle Dwayne, thank you for being a light in all of our lives.

Dwayne you were a great friend neighbor and friends to anyone who met you. I will miss our talks and will all remember the times we talked about your life farming and just life in general. No more pain my friend. I’ll always smile and think of you daily as I pass the John Deer benches.

What a great brother who will be missed, but has gone on to a better place. I'll always remember him driving three sibling to Pike's Peak when he was only 17!! Loved it, but scared me terribly on those curves.

Darlene, Debb, and Dan - We are so sorry for your loss. May all your memories be as happy as the ones I have from my visit with Dwayne at Debb’s quilt show. What a kind and loving man - a great example of Iowa farmers. With love, Joan and Larry

One of the best things to happen in our lives was to meet Dwayne and Darlene thru the Jayco camping club. Dwayne could be somewhere he'd never been and start a conversation. One of our best adventures was following their suggestion of getting a Milepost and drive to Alaska. We will miss his smiling face
